What a crazy month!
To start off, my draft of the first book in my four-book fantasy war series has not received much attention. It’s at 30k and the story is going well. The problem is that I want to write the later chapters and have been struggling with the current ones. I really haven’t touched the book since the beginning of the month, though.
Instead, I have spent most of my writing time working on Heir of the Elements! It’s been almost a year since I planned to finish this book, which is very unfortunate. Still, I am not entirely upset, because the recent edits were worth the wait.
I have fallen back in love with the story, the world, and the characters. The writing is much stronger, and I feel confident about the story I’m putting out.
So what about publication?
With draft seven almost done, I’m having a few readers review it. Then, I’ll do a quick, final edit. The pre-order links will be up soon!
I plan to spend the rest of the year finalizing the publication and finishing up my other fantasy book draft.
I cannot wait to get Heir of the Elements into readers’ hands. And I hope everyone has a wonderful October!
